Venezuelan International Loft
This project was completed in my Junior year(2020 fall) in the Interior Design III course. For this project, the client was native to another country but wanted a home that adapted to their lifestyle in the U.S. My clients were from Venezuela. I chose to include lots of soft colors and dramatic lighting, making the core of the loft social areas for family gatherings. In Venezuelan culture, food and connecting to the family is a large part of their lifestyle so I wanted to reflect that. Lots of natural stone and brick were used just like classic Venezuelan architecture.
